Obituary: Sebastian LoCascio

Sebastian LoCascio “Julie,” 81, of Lebanon, formerly of Montclair, died on Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2019.

Mr. LoCascio worked as a superintendent for the Frassetto Construction Company and later was a Shop Steward for the Local #408 Teamsters Union.

He was predeceased by his wife Diane LoCascio in 2018, and by his siblings Rose, Joe and Paul.

Mr. LoCascio is survived by his children, Julie Ann DiGiacomo and her husband, Michael and his son, Paul LoCascio and his wife, Gerardina, his grandchildren, Michael Simon DiGiacomo, Ava DiGiacomo, Anthony LoCascio and Rocco LoCascio.

Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 16 at Caggiano Memorial, 62 Grove St, Montclair. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 17, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 94 Pine St., Montclair. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in the name of Sebastian LoCascio may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at stjude.org.
