Outpost in the Burbs will host Fantastic Cat, a “super-group” comprised of four singer songwriters — Anthony D’Amato, Brian Dunne, Don DiLego and Mike Montali (Hollis Brown) — on Saturday, Dec. 11.

This concert will take place at the First Congregational Church, 40 S. Fullerton
Avenue, at 8 p.m.

The four songwriters joined forces to record their debut album, "The Very Best Of Fantastic Cat," featuring a mix of genres and decades, according to an Outpost in the Burbs press release. The music includes 1960’s folk, 1970’s AM radio gold, 1980’s heartland rock and 1990’s alt-country, the release said.

The album "balances careful craftsmanship and ecstatic abandon in equal measure, a raw, intoxicating collection captured live in the moment and fueled by the chemistry of four longtime friends making music for the sheer joy of it," the release said.
