About 150 members and supporters of the Bloomfield-based local affiliate of New Jersey Peace Action (formerly SANE), and Montclair NJ Peace Vigil get together for recognition of their volunteers' 62 years of action and support, refreshments, a raffle, a silent auction and a talk by the Keynote Speaker John Nichols, "We Need a New Foreign Policy in Order to Save the Planet and Achieve Economic, Social and Racial Justice." Nichols, author of "Horsemen of the Trumpocalypse: A Field Guide to the Most Dangerous People in America," The Nation magazine National Affairs Correspondent, author or coauthor of a dozen books on media and politics, is a frequent guest or commentator on BBC, NPR, MSNBC as well as other network broadcast and cable outlets.
