The MCPK Discovery Playground and Gardens, designed by students, staff, parents and community members, provides an all-access play space for the children of Montclair.
After MCPK school hours, the playground will open to all children.
Funding support for the renovations was provided by the Montclair Board of Education, gifts and grants from individuals, corporations, and foundations.
The school has worked over the past year to overhaul the playground, since some of the existing equipment was 20 years old.
