Photos: Winter Solstice Ceremony welcomes brighter days

The shortest day of the year is recognized with rituals, readings and meditation for the Winter Solstice ceremony of the UUCM Sacred Wheel CUUPS (Covenant of Unitarian Universalist Pagans), in the Rotunda of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation at Montclair, Sunday, Dec. 22. The group meets throughout the year, continuing thousands of years of the spiritual teachings of Earth-centered traditions. CUUPS also collected nonperishable food donations to go to various local food pantries.
