Police investigating report of shots fired on Pine Street

Montclair police are investigating after a report of shots being fired in the area of Pine Street early Sunday morning.

Lt. David O’Dowd said Monday that the police had received a call at 12:22 a.m. Sunday about a possible report of shots fired near the intersection of Glenridge Avenue. He said that callers reported hearing approximately three to four shots fired. However, when police arrived, they were unable to locate any bullet holes in the area.

O’Dowd said that there were no reported injuries, and the matter is under investigation at this time.
