PSEG work will cause power outage for some next Tuesday

Electric service will be interrupted on Tuesday, Feb. 11, from approximately 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m. for a portion of Ward 3 residences while PSE&G is upgrading overhead facilities to enhance capacity due to increased power demands.

The addresses to be affected are: South Willow Street: 36, 39, 35, 33, 31, 29, 25, 32, 34 and Seymour Street: 22, 20, 16, 14, 11.

If inclement weather or operating conditions warrant a cancellation, work will be rescheduled for the same time on Wednesday, Feb. 12.

This interruption of electric service may cause burglar alarm or fire alarm systems to operate. If you subscribe to such a service, you should inform the operators of the alarm system of the scheduled work.
