The League of Women Voters of the Montclair Area urges all registered voters to go to the polls on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 8.  We will be electing each district's U.S. representative, as well as the county executive. We will also be voting for three members of the Montclair Board of Education as well as deciding on the Montclair Board of Education’s bond proposal.

The polls are open on Election Day from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. You may also vote at an early voting location through Sunday, Nov. 6, or return your mail-in ballot to the Essex County Board of Elections by Election Day or deposit it into the ballot box at the municipal building on Claremont Avenue. Voters can check their registration status, find the location of their polling place, find information about candidates and the ballot question and other election-related information at VOTE411.org.

This election will affect so many policy issues including education, our communities, our security and our future. Be sure to vote!
