Friends of Anderson Park is sponsoring its second annual short story contest. Middle schoolers at all Montclair schools — public, private or home-schooled — are eligible. Stories will be judged by professional authors. Winners will each receive $75 and be invited to a reading and reception at Watchung Booksellers in March.

Any genre and subject matter are allowed. Anderson Park must play a role in the story, which should be 500 to 2,500 words. Stories should be typed, double-spaced with numbered pages.
