Election Day

Polls will be open in Montclair until 8 p.m.

Thousands of people had voted in advance, through mail-in ballots and early voting.

Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said that while the numbers are a far cry from where they were during the spring peak of COVID-19, they are also well above the low numbers seen during the summer. During the summer months, officials typically reported between 200 and 300 new cases a day.
