This Saturday, November 5, the New York Rangers are teaming up with USA Hockey and Floyd Hall Arena, in Little Falls, to host the first ever “Try Hockey for Free Day.” Children ages 4-9 are invited to come out to one of three sessions for a free skating lesson with Rangers alumni Brian Mullen. Complimentary rental skates will be available, and all children will receive a free Rangers hockey stick.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for kids to get the chance to play the greatest game on Earth,” said Rangers legend and Special Assistant, Prospect Development and Community Relations Adam Graves. “These are kids that might not otherwise be able to experience the game of hockey. They are sure to love it and hopefully this ignites a lifelong passion for the sport.”

Skating sessions on Saturday, November 5are as follows:

  • 10:20 am – 11:20 am – Session 1
  • 12:40 pm – 1:40 pm – Session 2
  • 3: pm – 4 pm – Session 3

Interested participants are encouraged to pre-register for their desired session online here.
