If the United Way building does not include a township-operated senior center, it will not be able to go ahead with its planned renovations, since the senior center was a condition of the Board of Adjustment giving its approval. 

United Way officials plan to renovate the building and parking area, with space on the first floor for a community center that is expected to be used primarily by seniors and operated by the township. 

Montclair Senior Citizens Advisory Committee and Montclair Division of Senior Services will hold its annual Seniorama on Nov. 7.
