Montclair's restaurants and cafes are switching to take-out only, and numerous other businesses have closed, as ordered by the state, to stem the COVID-19 outbreak.

Montclair Social Club owner Jason Miller is remodeling his 499-501 Bloomfield Ave. business and wants to expand his liquor license to include the second floor and a sidewalk café at 499-501 Bloomfield Ave.

Montclair Jazz Festival kicked off on Friday, July 26 with the DJ Brother Mister party, and continued Sunday with concerts and film. Grand Finale Aug. 10.
