More than 1,000 health-care workers at Mountainside hospital in Montclair have received at least their first doses of coronavirus vaccine, about a month after they first became available. That still leaves about 700 staffers who haven’t.
Settlement documents dated Thursday, Oct. 30, obtained from the Office of the Attorney General, state that the New Jersey Department of Health agreed to lift an Oct. 9 closure order issued against the restaurant for 10 executive order violations, as long as the restaurant abides by all conditions of New Jersey’s executive orders going forward.
The restaurant was cited for violating state executive orders against indoor dining on three occasions on Aug. 7, Aug. 23 and Oct. 4. In August, prior to the state allowing indoor dining, police and Montclair Health Department officials were called to the restaurant for reports of patrons dining inside the restaurant.
