PSE&G reports that, as of this morning, 100,000 customers in Essex, Bergen, Passaic and Hudson counties are without power, and it may take several days to restore it all.

  1. Still have power on church street, but damn that storm was rough. I was driving home in the worst of it and seriously considered parking under a bank drive-thru when the hail hit.

  2. We drove home from New York last night and the storm was windy but not that bad at all. From the downed trees, branches all around, darkness,it was clear Baristaville had a completely different storm. This morning, the phone lines were out of wack, but thanks to the Barista, we found out all the important info. What would we do without you!

  3. I’m with Anna Nicole’s SP. Is PSE&G going to reimburse us for all the spoiled food? My fiance says its an act of God. I say no, it’s an act of stupidity. They should have been better prepared. This is 2008, not 1948.
