Puerto Rico in Glen Ridge: Luncheon & Panel Discussion

Please join us for the next monthly luncheon presented by the International Department of the Women’s Club of Glen Ridge, a dynamic panel conversation entitled “Puerto Rico in Glen Ridge.” 

Come and hear local Puerto Rican residents: Vanessa Melendez Lucas (Attorney, Kids in Need of Defense), Marisela Santiago (volunteer translator, Kids in Need of Defense) and Ilia Wood (Realtor, West of Hudson) talk about their experiences growing up in Puerto Rico, making lives outside the island, and the strong island community that exists here in Glen Ridge.

Panelists will also share personal stories of experiencing Hurricane Maria from afar and and share the joy of watching Glen Ridge come together to help in the hurricane’s aftermath.
