The effort honors Montclair's sister cities, and the community around Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church.

Marialena and Raffaele Marzullo, former Montclair Police Chief Thomas J. Russo and Jose German-Gomez arrived and began to put groceries on every available table in the community room.

The Community Outreach Program (COP) of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, which began in 2016, has brought food every day to first responders.
