Vanguard Theater Company

After two years of pandemic experimentation, live theater is back with a passion.

The last four shows will honor the Montclair Brewery, Toni’s Kitchen and local Jack & Jill chapters.

Vanguard's artistic director Janeece Freeman Clark and her husband Dwayne Clark wrote the show in 2015, as a tribute to Ray Charles.

Vanguard had pushed the production back a week because of the recent coronavirus surge.

The eight-show run begins Friday, Jan. 14 at 8 p.m.

The concert will benefit Vanguard's Scholarship fund.

Wine and cheese reception starts at 6 p.m., to thank some of our most generous donors.
