Bloomfield's Temple Ner Tamid partnered with The Period Project, a National Council of Jewish Women/Essex program and The Jewish Federation of MetroWest's "Mitzvah Day," to collect menstrual products and toiletries for The Human Needs Food Pantry in Montclair.

The members, local teens and their parents, worked together to collect and fill bags for Human Needs Food Pantry clients Sunday, April 3, according to event organizer and Montclair resident Lauren Kaplan. Kaplan, her daughter Lola Kaplan, and Ner Tamid leadership organized the event.
