In brief: Tuers Park improvement bids rejected

The Montclair Mayor and Council council rejected bids for park improvements for Tuers Park. 

The bids came in over budget.

Two bids were received on Aug. 21, with the low bid submitted of $375,000, and the second bid of $499,197. The budget for the Tuers Park improvements is $225,000.

Park improvements include playground maintenance and upgrades.

The town will re-advertise the project.
