Earlier this week, we reported that the council is against plans from the Lackawanna Plaza developer that would allow left-hand turns into and out of a new planned supermarket entrance on Grove Street.

Council members expressed concern that the new entrance (upper yellow circle in the photo above) could cause a backup of motorists coming from Elm Street and Bloomfield Avenue, and be a traffic hazard. Left-hand turns into the existing entrance on Bloomfield (lower yellow circle in the photo above) will not be allowed.
