On Saturday, August 20, Nishuane Park will be filled with the sounds of cool jazz. Jazz House Kids will present their second annual Montclair JazzFestival.

The young musicians who participated in this year’s summer workshop at Jazz House Kids will perform the free six-hour long along with creative director and multi-Grammy winner Christian McBride, founder and executive director Melissa Walker, pianist Monty Alexander, drummer Ulysses Owens and Billy Hart, flugelhorn player Freddie Hendrix, guitarist Dave Stryker, organist Radam Schwartz and pianist Oscar Perez.

WBGO Jazz Radio 88.3 host Sheila Anderson will host the afternoon.

Gather the family, bring a picnic blanket and lawn chairs and enjoy a free jazz festival.
