We knew it was coming, because it was noted on the original calendar, but Montclair Public School made it official today with this announcement:
Montclair Public Schools Superintendent, Dr. Penny MacCormack, announced that due to extended school closures because of inclement weather, the district will now be open on Wednesday, February 19 and Friday, May 23, 2014.
If additional closures are required, the next vacation days to be recaptured will be Tuesday, February 18, and Monday, February 17, 2014, in that order.
We recognize that weather conditions have been challenging this winter and appreciate your understanding.
