Bloomfield Art League Exhibition

Art is blooming in Bloomfield during the month of November at the Oakeside Bloomfield Cultural Center.  The Bloomfield Art League has just opened their juried exhibition showcasing artists from Bloomfield, Nutley, Montclair, and surrounding towns.

Traditional, super realism and contemporary pieces, both professional and non professional, are on exhibit until December 1. 

The Bloomfield Art League was established in the 1930’s and is a contemporary non-profit organization, promoting and stimulating the interest in art. The League offers art classes with Donna Grande, Marita Landlau, Jackie Hanlon, and Marilyn Rose. Demonstrations of artist techniques and social events occur mainly on Sundays and are are sponsored by the Bloomfield Recreation Department. In January, they will be having workshops covering acrylic painting, bookmaking, and figure drawing. Dates to be announced.
