Fran Lebowitz

Purveyor of urban cool, Fran Lebowitz is the author and witty chronicler of the “me decade,” as well as the cultural satirist whom many call the heir to Dorothy Parker. She will make an appearance at SOPAC on Friday night. Lebowitz will be interviewed by News 12 New Jersey’s John Bathke before conversing with the audience. Lebowitz is pointed, forthright, unapologetically opinionated, and known for her hilariously dry social commentary on American life. She offers insights on timely issues such as gender, race, gay rights, and the media as well as her own pet peeves – including celebrity culture, tourists and strollers.
