The Supporters of the Bloomfield Animal Shelter will host a “Kitten Shower” on May 6 and 7 from 12-3 p.m.
During this time only, interested adopters will be able to meet all available kittens (and their mothers) and learn about and complete a “Foster-to-Adopt” Application for the kitten(s) of their choice.
Approved adopters will then be notified within 7 days to arrange to pick up their kittens.
SOBAS will also be collecting donations during this event to help a large number of cats that the shelter took in from a hoarding situation. The shelter is also diligently seeking foster, adopters or sanctuaries for these cats.
Monetary donations are needed to go toward sanctuary fees and other expenses.
Donations of food, toys and other items are also welcome. The shelter is located at 61 Bukowski Place, Bloomfield, NJ 07003.
