Along with Kosakowski, Montclair winners and honorable mentions included Emma Demefack, an eighth-grader at Renaissance Magnet School at Rand; Montclair High School senior Sam Lasiter; Kent Place School ninth-grader Elizabeth Laurence, and Montclair High School junior Ezra Marcus-Tyler.

The competition at MAM focuses on visual art. Its area of service includes the counties of Bergen, Essex, Passaic, Hudson, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Morris, Somerset, Sussex, Union, and Warren.
