John Maxwell of Poway, Calif., formerly of Montclair, died on May 12.
Mr. Maxwell graduated from Montclair High School in 1972. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1972 to 1974. He was a licensed real estate appraiser in San Diego County for over 35 years.
Mr. Maxwell was a long time motorcycle enthusiast who enjoyed riding all over the State of California.
He is survived by his wife Monica, his son Jon and wife Dorite and his daughter Desiree and fiancée Josh and two granddaughters, Hannah and Madeline. In addition he is survived by his brothers Joseph, William, Neil and James and his sisters Marilyn, Virginia and Patricia.
Burial was at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Montclair.
