Mac Sabbath, a Black Sabbath parody/tribute band, will play the Wellmont Theater, 5 Seymour St.,  on Tuesday, Aug. 27, 8 p.m. The band, which got its start in a fast-food restaurant in 2013, is known for tunes drawn from Black Sabbath hits, including “More Ribs,” “Pair-a-buns,” “Sweet Beef,” “Frying Pan” and more.

The appearance is part of its 2019 “American Cheese Tour.” The band’s particular genre is called “drive-thru metal.” Ozzy Osbourne himself is counted among the fans of this Los Angeles group, according to The Wellmont.
