Montclair’s Studio Playhouse mounts a new works initiative with the world premiere of Mark Liebert’s original play “Complete Game.” Performances began on Thursday, Sept. 26, and run for just one weekend. There will be talk-backs following the performances on Friday and Saturday nights. “Complete Game” is set in the fall of 1970.

Studio describes it as “a comedy in nine innings.” The play, they write, “spins a web to snare afficianado, casual fan, and non-enthusiast alike.” This is the fifth play of Liebert’s original plays to premiere at Studio Playhouse since 1999.
