Grand Band, organizers write, is the only professional piano sextet in the United States. The ensemble has been described by The New York Times as “a kind of new-music supergroup” and “the Traveling Wilburys of the city’s new-music piano scene.”

A First Impressions talk with Frankel, Mazzoli, and O’Connell will take place following the Saturday performance.

Performances will be at the Alexander Kasser Theater at Montclair State University, 1 Normal Ave. For tickets and information, call 973-655-5112 or visit peakperfs.org.
