Music & Theater
- Need a St. Patrick’s Day celebration? Dropkick Murphys will live stream a concert on March 17.
- The Met Opera will host “Nightly Met Opera Streams” at 7:30pm, which will remain on metopera.org for 20 hours.
- The Berlin Philharmonic is offering the entirety of its Digital Concert Hall streaming platform free through March 31.
- With school districts closing, many school musicals productions are canceled or postponed. Broadway star Laura Benanti started a Twitter thread asking students to tag her using #SunshineSongs to share their talent. You’ll find posts from Montclair students!
- Lincoln Center will share performances on its Facebook page
- Renowned cellist Yo-Yo Ma will be sharing live performances on social media calling them “Songs of Comfort.”
- Lin-Manuel Miranda released a previously unheard cut track from Hamilton titled “I Have This Friend” on Twitter

- The Montclair Film Festival may be postponed, but you can listen to past festival highlight of their In Conversation series with TV and Film Talent.
- Of course, there are the usual streaming services to binge watch movies and shows. Between Netflix, Hulu, AppleTV, Prime, there are hours and hours of entertainment.
Books & Podcasts
- Binge Podclair, the hyper-local podcast on Life and Entrepreneurship in Montclair.
- The Montclair Public Library offers many resources that you can use to check out ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and stream movies as well as learn a language online.
- Watchung Booksellers is taking online orders and offering curbside pickup and/or delivery so you can stock up on the lots of great reading material.
