Montclair’s pizza landscape continues to evolve — there are now two new pizzerias to love.

Mosoria

Cafe Moso is our new pizza hero for bringing pies back to Montclair’s South End.

The cafe’s owners have added to their plate, taking over the former Amore Pizza location that closed in December 2020. Renamed Mosoria, this new neighborhood pizza spot, located at 322 Orange Road, opened this week and offers “elevated comfort Italian cuisine Trattoria style” with takeout only. Plans to create a charming garden eating area outside are in the works.

Stop by and order a delicious pie (we tried the classic); menu offerings include Il Diablo with spicy Italian sausage, pepperoni and cherry pepper, as well as BBQ chicken, penne vodka and a veggie pie with pesto. Mosoria offers a personal pie (12″), large pie (16″) or Sicilian pie (16″ X 16″). Call 973-860-7151 to order.

Belgiovine’s Pizza

Go Sicilian with pies from Belgiovine’s Pizza

The restaurant row near Montclair Art Museum had been missing a pizzeria, but no more. Belgiovine’s Deli has expanded to offer Belgiovine’s Pizza — not only a great new addition, but a peacemaker when your family can’t decide between sandwiches or pizza.

Belgiovine’s pizza is a delicious collaboration between Belgiovine’s Italian Deli and Tony D’s Pizzeria in Caldwell, a place that has gotten raves from the Star Ledger’s Pete Genovese.

Belgiovine’s Pizza options include classic pepperoni, specials like Shiitake with truffle oil and a whole range of Grandma-style pies. Call 973-744-4402 to order.
