A disagreement over the price of coffee resulted in an altercation at the 7-11 on Bloomfield Avenue, police said.
A Bloomfield Avenue 7-11 employee reported that a man entered the store at 12:35 a.m. on May 25 and attempted to purchase a cup of coffee, according to police. An argument ensued over the price of the coffee, at which point the man was asked to leave the establishment, police said.
While exiting the store, he took the cup of coffee and threw it on the floor, police said. He then began to hit items on the counter, knocking over a computer monitor and a New Jersey Lottery ticket machine before fleeing in an unknown direction, police said.

VANDALISM
Thursday, May 20 — A man reported that he parked his vehicle in the rear of his apartment complex on Walnut Street and did not move it for several months. Upon returning to it, he discovered a long scratch mark along the driver’s side, a cracked windshield and a flat front passenger side tire.
THEFT
Tuesday, May 18 — A Montclair woman reported an Amazon package that had been delivered at 11:20 a.m. was stolen from her front porch on Claremont Avenue. The package contained a book valued at approximately $20.
SHOPLIFTING
Thursday, May 20 — A 50-year-old Newark woman was charged with shoplifting after allegedly concealing $130 worth of hygiene products and fleeing the CVS pharmacy on Valley Road.
DWI
Saturday, May 22 — A 27-year-old Bloomfield man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a motor vehicle stop on Bloomfield Avenue.
