flier for aapi lantern festival

AAPI Montclair will host its fourth annual Lantern Festival at Edgemont Park on May 19 from 6 to 9 p.m.

Thousands of lanterns will be lit throughout the park in remembrance of those who have been harmed by violence and injustice, including anti-Asian hate. This community event is a powerful symbol of remembrance for those who have suffered from violence and injustice.

Attendees can take a stand against all forms of hate and join the community in celebrating solidarity, unity and the shared goal of achieving justice for everyone.

The Lantern Festival promises to be an inspiring evening. It will feature a short program with local and state leaders, captivating performances, live music, tantalizing food trucks, community partner tables, fun activities for children, and the chance to dedicate luminaries with your own personal message.

Admission is free, but donations are appreciated to support AAPI Montclair’s initiatives. Visit aapimmontclair.org for updates and more details.
