posster for the montclair center art walk

Hey, fellow art lovers, listen up! Montclair Center Art Walk returns to town on Thursday, April 11. Over 60 downtown businesses will participate in this annual event that celebrates Montclair’s amazing art scene.

The Art Walk is a cool event that brings together local businesses and artists. It offers the community an evening of pop-up exhibitions and the opportunity to shop, dine and buy original art. You can scan QR codes to get a digital map to find information about the artists and exhibition locations.

Three featured muralists—Chris “Cent” Reyes, Christian, and HiCoup—will paint murals in various locations across the downtown area. Once completed, they will be auctioned, with 50% of the sale proceeds going to the charitable organization of the artists’ choice. This is a unique opportunity to support local art and causes!

Montclair Center Art Walk Special Activities

From family-friendly activities to live mural painting by talented local artists, there will be something for everyone to enjoy.

Montclair Art Museum and other local businesses are curating lots of engaging art activities in the “Family Zone” at Crane Park in Lackawanna Plaza to transform it into a fun-filled destination for families.

Additional activities include “Spark Talks,” inspiring talks by local artists and entrepreneurs about process, creation, and craft and how they intersect with the community.
