FreeThe College Women’s Club of Montclair is having a lecture on art quilts this coming Saturday at the First Lutheran Church. If you have friends that might be interested, please bring them – there is no charge. Following is the ad for the event.
The College Women’s Club of Montclair is presenting a lecture Saturday, January 12
by Mary Schwartzenberger who will present a program entitled “Art quilts – Natural themes and wearable fibre art”. Mary has exhibited her work in many national shows. Her art quilts and wearable art garments have won awards in juried competitions. She is known for her vibrant use of color and unique style. Mary owns Fantasy Fiber Art in Milford, NJ, a gallery where she displays her wearable art garments and accessories. Classes in many areas of art quilting are also offered.
