Bellevue Avenue Little Read

The Montclair Public Library invites everyone to attend the 14th annual “Little Read,” a series of events in which guest readers from the community climb into an iconic big red chair and read stories aloud to schoolchildren and families. This celebration of literacy encourages sharing stories, building community, and cultivating a love of reading. Funds raised through sponsorships, organized by the Montclair Public Library Foundation, support children’s programming at the Library throughout the year, including the Summer Reading program.
The Little Read begins with classroom visits and culminates in several events, which are free and open to the public. The books selected for reading aloud are aimed at audiences in preschool through grade three.
Friday, October 14, 11 a.m.-12 p.m. Registration is not required, but recommended.
Saturday, October 15, 3-4 p.m. Registration is not required, but recommended.

Join special guest readers for our Little Read at Bellevue Avenue Branch! The event will be in person. Please bring something to sit on such as a towel.
