Book Talk: Dani Shapiro “Inheritance”

Best-selling author Dani Shapiro talks with Deborah Davis about her gripping memoir Inheritance on the meaning of parenthood and family identity. In the spring of 2016, via a DNA test, Dani received the stunning news that her father was not her biological father.

At this event Dani will explore the ethical questions surrounding fertility treatments and DNA testing, as well as paternity, identity, and love.

Doors will open at 6pm for the cocktail hour, and the talk will start at 7pm. Hor d’oeuvres and light fare will be available to all as well as a cash bar. Tickets cost $45 and include a hardback copy of the book, a light buffet meal and book talk. Dani will sign books at the end of the talk.
