Cows Wearing Glasses (Las Vacas Con Gafas)
(Subtitled)  92 min  2016  –  Drama, Family

In his first feature film, director Alex Santiago Perez tells the story with some humor of Marso, a lonely, eccentric painter and art professor is losing his sight and being forced to retire from the university.  As the world as he knows it comes to an end, he is now forced to re-examine an existence filled with professional successes but unsatisfying personal relationships, including his only daughter.
El Cantante (2006)
106 min | Biography, Drama, Music

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony bring to life the rise, fall and redemption of salsa singer, Héctor Lavoe (1946–1993), told from the perspective of his wife Puchi. In the early 1960s, Héctor arrives in New York from Ponce, Puerto Rico, and success comes quickly. “The more he grew as an artist,” Puchi says, “the more he sank as a person.” It’s a tale of talent—creating salsa with Willie Colón, the Fania All Stars and as a soloist—and disintegration as his life becomes fueled by drugs, alcohol, partying and depression.
