Now it’s official. There’s a Facebook page for everything. In a little under a week, That Huge Chicken Mural on Church Street already has 592 fans. It still has a little ways to catch up to I’m From Montclair, a Facebook page that has attracted 4,625 people who either or call or have called Montclair their home.
Is the chicken, or rooster, really on Church Street anyway? I keep thinking it’s on Park.
Meanwhile, what’s your favorite Facebook fan page? Is it the poodle with the tinfoil hat? Or perhaps Your Daily Dose of Mister?

LOL! Love the chicken!
I am actually a member of the fan club for Ernie the Giant Chicken on “Family Guy.”
It is on Park Street.
Hurry up and set up a fan page for “That Huge Rooster Mural on Park Street”
the chicken joint has come and gone but the giant chicken will live on and on…on Park Street
***The Amphitheater*** – I’m an officer.
I love chickens.
I expect candidates Huckabee and Palin to do a photo-op in front of a mural like this somewhere in the “Real America” while talking about Obama’s “lackadaisical” foreign policy.
(recent capture of Taliban big notwithstanding)
I am wholeheartedly trying to get Betty White to host SNL. I would prefer Betty White and Cloris Leachman, but we can’t have everything now can we.
Yup, its on park st. Epernay restaurant. You should at least get your location right if you have a picture of it.
realhawker, that’s the name of the Facebook group: “That huge chicken mural on Church St.” I mention in the piece that it’s on Park.
Ackme – I LOVE ***The Amphitheatre***! Dan rocks!
I just became a fan of “My mother used to make me wear plastic bread bags inside my snow boos” or something like that.
I like, “In New Jersey, you don’t go to the beach, you go down the shore.”
Unless of course you grew up “down the shore” then you call it the beach. You North Jerseyians think you’re the only New Jersey.
Debbie, my comment was aimed at the group, not baristanet.
Noth Jerseyians ARE the only New Jersey. Everyone outside of North Jersey have one job: Maintenance crew for our vacation spots
Jimmytown, I presume you are kidding, but let’s not overlook the cranberry farmers or the Phillly suburb white collar folks.
