babyclothing.jpgI’m in the process of organizing my girls’ clothing. I’m going through my older daughter’s clothes and packing away the stuff that is still in good condition for her little sister to wear and packing up all the clothing my little one has grown out of to donate.

It’s the perfect time, because on Wednesday, May 12 Baby Steps will be collecting children’s clothing for families in need. There are 800 families in the Montclair area living below the poverty line and they could use our help.

Baby Steps: Donate Your Baby & Kid Clothes
Who: Anyone who has baby & kid clothing to donate.
What: If you are doing some spring cleaning and thinking about weeding out clothing for your infant/children under age 5, please consider donating them to Baby Steps, a new charitable clothing drive designed to get new or like-new clothing directly into the hands of the 800 families in the Montclair area living below the poverty line.
Where: United Way Building (Main Floor Meeting Room), 60 South Fullerton Avenue, Montclair NJ, 07042.
When: Drop-off clothing on Wednesday, May 12 from 9:30 am – 1 pm.
Cost: Free and you will get a receipt for tax purposes. For more information contact Katie Severance here.

  1. Georgette do you know if they want toys and other gear (such as diaper champ, potty etc)?
