  1. My children have told me that Melissa D, who is a subsititute teacher has been using all the school computers and childrens phones to vote for herself. Would this be aginst the rules?

  2. Sounds like a great night…I’ll be there with my camera – putting together a segment of Inside Montclair for Patch. Look for me – I’m still wearing my Hat.

  3. I am friends with one of these ladies and I am rooting for her. Will try and make it tonight but I am not 100% sure I can as I am a little achy from yesterday’s marathon.

  4. When I first saw the “illustration” for this piece I thought it was about either mail order brides or internet porn. Sorry, just being honest.

  5. First, I have to agree with “Fussy Hostess” about the perception on this and its interpretation that is detached rom the real purpose.

Secondly, “BradleyBeachMontclair” is right on target with the actions of the person they mentioned.

Fun fact: If you happened to see the “winner” unload an unprovoked vulgarity laced tirade on a local bar owner several years ago, you may certainly question how it could possibly relate to “inner goodness”. (bar owner not named out of courtesy)

Um…shes a teacher and THATS the photo being used?

  6. Ella was the winner tonight. A TRUE beauty inside and out.

I had three favorites and they all were wonderful women!

  7. I was there video taping the event..I go way back with Dominick, Richard and Isreal ( they used to do hair/makeup for fasion shows I produced in NY – another lifetime ago ) Anyway, the other reason for this event, besides finding the Face of Bangz, was that all the women, thru gifts they received, made donations to a charity of their choice –it helped many good causes – there’s the beauty within – all also had beauty outside too.

It was a great fun night, and congrats to all – look for a video soon….and just in case I don’t see you – have a Happy & Healthy Thanksgiving

  8. Oh, abd BTW – the camelot comment above is me – Wayne Robbins..I had to sign up again, and they didn’t let me use my name..so, when you see a comment by “camelot” it’s me WR. – just in case I forget to add my name to the bottom, like I did up there.

    goodnight all

  9. I normally wouldn’t comment, but I must say that Natalie was as beautiful in person as she was in her picture. Had I not been in the top five myself, I would have voted for her 🙂 Speaking for myself though, it was a win / win situation. I overcame a fear I’d been longing to overcome and achieved it; which was to speak publicly so I would do it for church purposes.

I ultimately still raised a little bit of money for Autism Speaks. However, being a mom, I know the excitement of a parent. I had the pleasure of speaking with Ella’s father – seeing the glow in his face, brought that joy to my heart of a mom! If that were my child in top five, I would much rather had my child win than me. So, my heart was really filled with a happiness also because she had just told me minutes before that her organization was counting on her to raise this money and they’d planned on closing come December.

Best of luck to Ella and all of the other ladies and their choice of charities. When push came to shove, each one of them had a life story to tell whether they cheated or didn’t cheat or whatever their story was. In the end, grace was upon them.
