Incident: Arson/Criminal Mischief
Description: Officer Joseph Uliano was dispatched to Hamilton Rd. on a report of arson. The victim reported that sometime during the night unknown suspect(s) removed a cement statue from their front porch and set it on fire in the middle of the street. Description: Officer Ryan Schwartz was dispatched to the 100 block of Ridgewood Ave. to take a report of a burglary and theft. Description: Officer Bryan Hackett was dispatched to a burglary and theft on Spencer Rd. The victim reported that they found there attached garage had been entered during the day. Description: Officer Joseph Uliano was dispatched to the police lobby to take a report of a theft. The victim reported that when a patient at Mountainside Hospital in June unknown suspect(s) removed personal belongings from their room. The matter in under investigation by the detective bureau.

Incident: Burglary/Theft/Criminal Mischief
Description: Officer Michael Medico was dispatched to the Country Club on Ridgewood Ave. on a report of a burglary and theft. He reported that suspects had broken into a liquor cooler in the cabana and removed several bottles of alcohol. While at the scene, officers located several suspicious parties. The case has been turned over to the detective bureau and the case is currently under investigation.

Incident: Armed Robbery
Description: Officers were dispatched to the area of Bloomfield Ave. and Ridgewood Ave. on a reported t armed robbery. Upon arrival officers spoke to the victim who reported that while on Bloomfield Ave, two men approached and demanded money, when the victim said that they didn’t have any money a suspect brandished a handgun and punched the victim, removing $20.00. The suspects then fled the area. Suspect description: The first suspect who brandished the black hand gun is a black male, skinny build, 19-20 years old, chin strap style facial hair wearing a v-neck white t-shirt, Nike boots and blue jeans. The second suspect is a black male, muscular build, 19-20 years old, full thick beard and was wearing a red bandana, red shirt and cargo pants. Anyone with information can contact Det. During this week the Glen Ridge Police Department investigated (9) motor vehicle accidents which resulted in no injuries.
