UPDATE: Lady has been found.

A reader writes:

I live near corner of Upper Mountain and Normal and my dog was taken from the front of my house this afternoon around 1:30. The dog got out of our back gate – the wind must have blown it open. I didn’t realize she was gone until I saw someone in a blue car stop in front of the house and put her in their car.

She is a 7 year old shepherd and her name is Lady. She has a collar, but no ID tags. She is VERY kind and sweet and friendly with adults and kids, but territorial and doesn’t like other dogs.

  1. So happy for you that you found her. She is beautiful. Reminds me of my beloved Saxon XXI aka Bubba who passed many years ago.

  2. It’s great to know that someone was caring enough to stop and bring Lady to safety so quickly. Someone else might have just kept driving. Dog rescue heros are the best!
