The Montclair Hillside School community spent their Sunday afternoon beautifying the grounds as part of the Prudential Global Volunteer Day initiative which gives grants to great volunteer projects.  Last year, more than 28,000 people participated in 750 Global Volunteer Day projects in the United States and 10 other countries where Prudential has a business presence.
Thank-you, thank-you to everyone who turned out for us yesterday. This was a big project and we moved about 5 yards of mulch! The parents were great and the kids as well.
We had a teacher who came at 12 and stayed with us until 5! Ms. Towery is so much more than a teacher.
Thank- you to Mr. Chiles and Mr. Grosso although they may never show up to a project I run again.
Oh and thank you to Chanda for taking pictures, working and yelling at me to slow down and not kill myself.
