Three Montclairions have made headlines this week. Here’s a shout out:
Yesterday, CBS announced that Stephen Colbert, who said goodbye to “The Colbert Report,” after 9 years, will debut as the host of “Late Show” on Tuesday, September 8.
Marc Lore, founder and former chief executive officer of Quidsi Inc. and Montclair resident, talks about the launch of an online wholesale shopping club Jet.com to compete with Amazon.com. Lore sold Quidsi, a company best known for its website Diapers.com, to Amazon in 2010.
Author Pamela Redmond Satran was recently featured in a NY Times article discussing her recent career accomplishment. In March, TV Land will show the first episode of “Younger,” a half-hour comedy series starring Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff, based on Satran’s best-selling 2005 novel of the same name. Darren Star, creator of the HBO series “Sex and the City,” is the executive producer of the show.
September 8? We have to wait that long? Wonder what Steve will do with his down time? 😀
He’ll be coming up with a new personna to entertain us all?
Maybe even a late night TV talk show host.
I thought Letterman was leaving in February.
