Back in April, we announced that Montclair Local and Baristanet would merge to create one stronger, all digital-only news operation.
Today that vision reaches a milestone with the launch of our new Montclair Local website and online community. Our new site features the Montclair Local news you’ve come to rely on and the Baristanet features you love — restaurant news, family-friendly activities, real estate, culture and more.
While we designed the site to be intuitive, here are tips to get around:
· See latest and featured stories at the top of the page.
· Scroll down to see more news articles, columns and features from Montclair Local and Baristanet.
· Use the navigation bar at the top of the page to find reporting by topic.
· To comment, scroll down to log in.
· Love sports? The latest sports stories appear at the top of the page, you can see recent sports stories by scrolling to the Sports section, or by clicking the Sports tab at the top of the navigation bar.
We’re always looking to improve and will continue to bring you enhancements and additional features to keep you informed and entertained. One of those features — new to Montclar Local readers — is a daily email featuring the latest stories and events.
Thank you for your patience as we work to improve your experience. Bear with us as we iron out a few issues we’re working to resolve. We know our readers aren’t afraid to share their thoughts, so please help us flag any issues we should troubleshoot.
