Montclair Public Library and Montclair Local are proud to present a Montclair Municipal Election Candidates Forum on Sunday, April 7, at 4 p.m. Montclair residents will go to the polls on Tuesday, May 14, 2024, to elect a candidate for township mayor, a ward councilor and two at-large councilors. This event is the first in-person opportunity to meet and hear from the candidates for mayor, at large and all four wards. The forum will be recorded for viewing on Montclair TV34 and posted on the TV34 Youtube Channel.

Library Director Janet Torsney will moderate the forum. Each candidate will be given a chance to answer questions prepared in advance by MPL and Montclair Local. At the end of the event, there will be a meet-and-greet session where attendees can interact with the candidates. Don’t miss this opportunity to get to know the candidates and their vision for the future of Montclair.
