Watchung Booksellers welcomes author and aviator Carole Hopson to discuss her novel, “A Pair of Wings: A Novel Inspired by Pioneer Aviatrix Bessie Coleman” on Thursday, October 6 at 7:00.
Based on the true story of the first female Black pilot, Hopson’s novel embraces the tenacity and resilience of this fearless woman who overcame cultural, racial, and economic obstacles in order to learn to fly.
